Privacy policy
Last updated: 11 July 2026
Frontsmith is built to work without collecting personal data: there are no accounts, the tools run entirely in your browser, and nothing you open in them is uploaded. This page explains the little data handling that does happen, and what will change if advertising is enabled.
Controller
The controller responsible for this website within the meaning of the GDPR is:
PETRACH, obrt za računalno programiranje, vl. Vedran Petrač
Ulica Bele Bartoka 95

Hosting and server logs
When you visit the site, our hosting provider technically needs to process your IP address to deliver the pages, and may keep short-lived server logs (IP address, time of request, requested URL, browser user agent) to operate the service securely. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use these logs to identify visitors.
Data stored in your browser
The site stores your theme preference (light or dark) in your browser’s local storage. This value never leaves your device and is not a tracking mechanism. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser data.
The tools run client-side
Colors, palettes and images you work with in the tools are processed entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party. For page statistics we use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless service that only collects aggregated, anonymized visit counts — it sets no cookies, builds no personal profiles and does no cross-site tracking. Beyond that we set no tracking cookies.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We plan to fund the site with ads served by Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Once advertising is active, Google may set cookies and process personal data (such as your IP address and ad interactions) to serve and measure ads, including — with your consent — personalized ads.
Before any advertising cookies are set, visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland will be asked for consent through a consent banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can decline, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the banner’s privacy settings. Where consent is declined, only non-personalized ads or no ads are shown.

Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase personal data concerning you, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority — in Croatia, the Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP).

Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the site’s data handling changes — for example when advertising goes live — and adjust the date above.
